I was at Bentwaters from Sept 69 until Nov 72. I was a crew chief with the 91st TFS and worked on F4s. I have a lot of great memories of my years there and of the many fine people with whom I had the pleasure of working. I would love to hear from anyone who may remember me from such a long time ago.

Great website-stumbled on it by accident. The pic of the old war room is great- I spent many hours there monitoring aircraft while other 2 and 3-stripers were out in the freezing English drizzle under the wing of an F-4. Great duty. I was in the 381 MMS March 1966-Mar 1969. Now sell insurance for Farmers in Texas. OIC was Allen Jones Capt. and NCOIC was Charles Morris SMSgt.

Interesting web site and links page. I was at Bentwaters 55-57 when the 91st flew F-84F acft. Worked in the special weapons bomb dump in 1st TDS det that maintained the weapons. I believe the det was gone from the base in the early 60s. We lived in Q huts in the 91st area where Tobacco housing was built after I left.
